Dear sister Delia
I received your welcome letter a long time a go and will try to answer
it and thank you for such a nice Christmas box. You are too good to me.
Altogether you never seem to forget anyone.
I was home Christmas. We got a Xmas box from Maggie and Lillie in Yorkton.
We had a Xmas tree. Ed and [Prolo] and the Pettits were down and we had quite
a little time.
Eva said you were going to the Klondike in the spring to see Hanson.
You never said anything about it when you wrote to me.
I suppose you have heard that Jo and Pat has a baby boy and it yells most
of the time. Pat calls him smallface after an old Indian that is around here.
Eva and Jo are at sword points with each other the same as usual. Jo could not
get any of the girls to stay with her this winter.
I haven't been to town since last summer and you can imagine what kind of a
time I am putting in up here.
Do you ever hear from Grant? He says he is coming back here in the spring.
Pa was up on a visit not too long ago, stayed a week.
Jo has a Gibson girl working for her and when I cannot find anything else to do,
I tease her about her big boots and makes her awful mad.
I got a nice Xmas from Laura and her mother the same time I got yours. Well,
I guess I will have to stop for this time, can't think of any more to write.
So write soon and tell me all about Hanson, what is he doing, and when you are
going to get married, and all of the news. So good by for this time from your
loving brother
Otis
