Margaret Lewis & Jeremiah Royle |

Jeremiah Royle was born 21 January 1833 in Manchester, England to John Royle and Ann (?). John Royle was a widower when he brought his children to Massachusetts, USA, from England. Jeremiah Royle lived in Illinois USA until 1882, then moved to the Dakota Territory USA (later Dakota), and then to in Assiboia, Canada (which was later Saskatchewan and Alberta)after 1891. He died August 1915.
Margaret "Maggie" Lewis was born 13 September 1840 in New York State, near West Point. She first married Robert Young and had two children (Grant and Alwilda). He died during the Civil War from dysentery. She later married Jeremiah Royle.

I have yet to find and scan photos of Jo & Maggie. This will be remedied when possible. There *are* photos of them.
